Regina East Zone Youth Soccer Association is a registered non-profit organization that provides safe, fun and affordable recreational soccer for the children of East Regina. REZYSA is a community based organization and is affiliated ith the Boothill, Arcola East and Dewdney East community associations.
We do not compete with the competitive soccer associations in Regina, but rather provide an alternative, recreational soccer experiance, for those who aren't prepared to make the time commitment for competitive soccer, don't wish to make the financial commitment required for competitive soccer, or who don't have the skill level to play competitive soccer. REZYSA is achievement based, not competitive. All players play equally regardless of skill level or ability and sportsmanship is enouraged. If your young player wants a competitive soccer experience we encourage you to explore FC Regina, or Queen City United competitive soccer clubs.
One of our fundamental goals is to keep registration costs reasonable. We operate strictly cost recovery and we have no paid staff. There are no hidden fees and we will not ask you for anything more than the cost of registration.
Seasons
REZYSA operates two seasons a year for children from 4 years of age to 18 years of age.
- indoor season which runs from October to March, in school gyms, with approximately 700 children. Registration will start in mid-June and close in mid-September.
- outdoor season that runs during May and June each year with approximately 1100 children. Registration will occur early-December to mid-March.
Volunteers
REZYSA is a non-profit, volunteer run organization and as such only succeeds on the quality of its volunteers. The REZYSA Executive Board consists of several elected positions as well as a number of other non-elected at-large executive positions.
